Camino de Santiago Insurance
If you are walking the Camino de Santiago then taking out travel, health or personal Insurance is strongly recommended, even if you have a European Health Insurance Card.
Most travel and medical insurance policies will have hiking or trekking as an included activity, usually up to 2000m above sea level. The Camino Frances maximum altitude is around 1600m ASL, but it’s always worth checking the small print of your Camino insurance policy.
